That would be kind to say they know one thing
How to charge and attitude
Example a little background I have a six called wings start in 1984 open till 2010. I have always ran mobile one in my Wings
It provides better and smoother shifting of gears
Oh, Ill brought a used 2008 wing from Florida fairly low mileage and brought it to Sloans for service as usual. I provided my own oil that I requested to be put into my life my bike and to do a routine service whatever the bike was needed, I waited for the service to be done and one of the service reps comes in and tells me that the oil that I am providing for my wing was not motorcycle rated oil. I burst out laughing because I have been using mobile one since 1984 close to 40 years never had an issue with any motorcycle that I have owned that I have used it in including Harley , Indian victory Yamaha and Kawasaki every bike that I had ever put it in my performance and my shifting was greatly improved and smoother so my dilemma was I need a oil changed and I was going to have to purchase Honda oil from Sloans and a premium price to top it all off they charged me for each court And they put in an installation fee
I have purchased a number of motorcycles from Sloans as well as for wheelers and utility vehicles. I have never ever truly been excited or pleased with the charges that I would get each time I brought my bike or utility vehicle in for service. I had the opportunity to use a different Dealer for routine service for example, on my four wheeler utility vehicle and my bill was half the cost of Sloans I have complained for example I have a $750 service bill on my Can-Am defender and it ran shittier than it had ever run when I got it back I had to tell them to put a certain spark plugs in it And he would think for that kind of money so the spark plugs wouldve been installed without me having to ask him that isnt the first time that it is ever happened. I mean if youre going to pay four and $500 for service and they cant take the time to put in a single spark plug in a classic well there cost probably $25 is probably a four dollar price. Somethings wrong I dont know what is happened to their service department but I will not ever take one of my vehicles there for service. They have price them selves wrong with their attitude out of reach for my budget
Another example I have on three Polaris rangers I have always had them serviced at Sloans. The last service I have done on my Polaris ended up costing me 1/2 of what previous service for the exact same work that was supposedly done. What does it tell you and it was being done at a registered Polaris dealer, just a different one other than Sloans.
I willl buy from Sloan but my service other than sloans
